The consolidated organisation will trade under the existing TEAM Energy Resources name (see note below) and will provide personnel – qualified individuals, teams or crews – in three distinct areas:
• drilling, completions and intervention
• pipeline and process
• subsea and inspection.
The new company will operate initially from principal offices in Aberdeen and Norwich, in the UK, and Doha in Qatar. It already has over 7000 high-calibre individuals on its books – 400 of these are currently placed with clients mainly working in the North Sea, West Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

In addition to providing a premium service to the wider industry, TEAM also has a role to play within Acteon by providing group companies with key specialists when necessary.” TEAM will continue to place heavy emphasis on its back-office organisation. By employing the latest information technology, the company ensures that people’s qualifications and certifications are accurately detailed, personnel logistics are well catered for and commercial and contractual arrangements are dealt with efficiently.
Note: The continued use of the Aquatic name
The Aquatic name will not disappear from Acteon. Before this merger, Aquatic Engineering & Construction had two main business lines: manpower services and powered reeling systems for the laying and retrieval of pipes and umbilicals. This latter business, which is thriving, continues to operate as Aquatic Engineering & Construction Ltd.
