Pulse Structural Monitoring appoints Richard Kluth as managing director

Pulse Structural Monitoring, part of the Acteon group, has appointed Richard Kluth as its managing director.

Based at Pulse's UK office in Woking, Kluth will oversee the company's operations at global level, and will be responsible for the development of business and marketing strategies, and managing business development activities.

Kluth comes to Pulse from Sensornet, the leader in reservoir optimisation using high-tech fibre-optic sensors, where he worked as general manager. He brings with him 16 years of technical and commercial experience in new technology, operations management and strategy and business development, and will be well placed to facilitate Pulse's growth in his new role.

Dr Pei An will maintain his position as technical director focusing on new product development. UK operations will continue to be managed by Sandip Ukani and those in the USA by Wolfgang Ruf.
