Seabed visualisation services
NCS Survey provides a real-time seabed visualisation system (SVS) that can be operated from a vessel, remotely operated vehicle, rig or barge.
The SVS system is an integrated package that offers more flexibility and versatility than other off-the-shelf multibeam/sonar products. For example, the SVS system’s unique electronic beam-steering capability can provide survey-quality data of a 3D volume in front of the arrays rather than a single 2D swathe of information.
The system can be used to provide real-time dredge and backfill control, thereby eliminating the need for breaks in operations to perform intermediate surveys. The system can also be used for touchdown monitoring without needing to be at the touchdown point.
